I Scream Fashion

I am a strong believer in the famous Yves Saint Laurent quote, “Fashion fades, style is eternal.” I interpret this quote as a glamorous way of saying ‘don’t follow trends, don’t be a slave to fashion, just have your own personal style.’ Trends are what I hate, I prefer more classic style.

This summer I see nothing but trends becoming a part of the personal style of different individuals. There is nothing wrong with that if the trend is actually becoming but this summer the trends are just down right styleless.

 I understand that some of the styles in the 80’s and 90’s were nice but please don’t bring back the ugliest trends from those infamous fashion decades and please let the ‘homeless chic’ look die out.
